William Hill have launched their sports betting app in West Virginia, giving all residents of the Mountain State access to a fourth online sportsbook ahead of the new NFL season.
Residents of West Virginia now have another betting option for the upcoming NFL season after William Hill Sportsbook launched in the Mountain State on Thursday September 3.
The William Hill app is now available in the App Store or on Android and West Virginia sports bettors can simply download the app, open an account and start betting from home. The license for the sportsbook is attached to the Mountaineer Casino, which has a William Hill retail sportsbook, but there is no requirement to register or to even go into the Casino in order to place bets.
To celebrate the launch of the William Hill app, the firm is giving all residents of West Virginia a $10 Free Bet when they open an account with the Promo Code EXPERTVIP150. This will also qualify new players for a 100% First Deposit Match, up to a maximum of $150.
William Hill is now the fourth online betting apps available in West Virginia, with DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM already available in the state.
West Virginia has become William Hill’s second fully online state in the US, after New Jersey. However, there are William Hill Sportsbooks in 12 states, including Nevada, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, District of Columbia and Iowa.
The most recent sports betting figures indicated that 1 in 4 wagers in America have been placed at a William Hill Sportsbook, which makes them the most popular in the country for retail wagering. The addition of West Virginia, and the impending launch of an online app in Colorado sees the company looking to build on that position with more online offerings.
